Power Magic Pro

Enable Parking Mode for your BlackVue dash camera

Power Magic Pro is a hardwiring kit that supplies power from your car to your BlackVue, while protecting your vehicles battery.

Parking Mode switch on: power is supplied to your dash camera even when your vehicles ignition is off, allowing for Parking Mode recording.

Parking Mode switch off: power is not supplied to your dash camera.

Two systems to avoid discharging the battery

Power Magic Pro allows to configure both timer and voltage cut-off values. Power Magic Pro will cut the power to the BlackVue based on both Timer and Voltage Cut-off value, whichever comes first. The timer can be set from 6 hours to infinite.

In addition to the timer, Power Magic Pro lets you set a voltage cut-off value. As soon as the voltage from your vehicles battery drops to the cut-off value, Power Magic Pro will stop powering your dashcam, thus saving your battery.

B124X BlackVue Power Magic Ultra Battery

BlackVue Power Magic Ultra Battery B-124X Adds 24V Compatibility, USB Power Outlet

The BlackVue Power Magic Ultra Batteryis the best Parking Mode accessory for your BlackVue dashcam. The latest version (B-124X) now features both 12V and 24V compatibility as well as a USB power outlet. 

Note: BlackVue Battery Bluetooth app update

The BlackVue Battery App—which lets you connect via Bluetooth to your Ultra Battery to check its status—has been updated for compatibility with the new B-124X model. Once downloaded, you can access it separately or from the BlackVue App’s main menu.

Same large capacity and reliability

The B-124X, like the B-124 that precedes it, features a 12.8V/6000mAh/76.8Wh battery protected by an aluminum enclosure. Depending on your dashcam, you will be able to get from 16 to over 24 hours of Parking Mode. Like its predecessor, it is built to sustain the harshest conditions. The Lithium Iron Phosphate cells allow the B-124X to perform reliably under extreme temperatures that would make regular Lithium-Ion batteries a safety hazard. 

Two ways to install it

The B-124X can be powered from the cigarette lighter power socket of your vehicle thanks to the provided adapter. It can also be hardwired to your vehicle’s electric system via the fuse box, with the also provided kit. We recommend the hardwiring method for fastest charging time. 

When connected to the cigarette lighter, the B-124X will draw 5A at best, charging in under 80 minutes.

When hardwired, the B-124X is able to draw up to 9A, charging in approximately 40 minutes.

New dual 12V/24V compatibility

The original Power Magic Ultra Battery (B-124) was compatible with 12V systems only. 

The new B-124X adds 24V compatibility so you can install it in most individual and commercial or heavy-duty vehicles.

New USB power outlet

The B-124X also adds a 5V (2A max) USB power outlet to power accessories. If you use BlackVue Over the Cloud, this could be a solution to keep your Wi-Fi hotspot going while in Parking Mode.

Thinkware IVOLT Battery Pack

THINKWARE iVolt Mini External Battery (IVOLTMN) suits all THINKWARE dash cam series. This battery pack charges while the vehicle is driving and powers your THINKWARE dash cam during parking mode instead of drawing current from the vehicles battery.

IVOLTMN will only work with hardwired dash cams, it simply hardwires to the vehicle's battery or fusebox and requires a THINKWARE Hard Wire Cable Kit (HWC) to connect to the dash cam.

Street Guardian SGDCHW Hardwire Kit

Install the SGDCHW to enable a special parking mode on the Street Guardian SG9663DC Dash Camera.

With the SGDCHW Hardwire Kit the SG9663DC parking mode includes built-in low-voltage cut-off so that the camera will turn off before draining the vehicle’s battery.

RADAR 

EXTEND PARKING MODE FOR THE U1000 DASH CAM!

Pair the Radar Module with the U1000 to extend its parking surveillance* duration while reducing power consumption when set to Energy Saving Mode 2.0. The Radar Module simply mounts on the front windscreen next to the dash cam and will detect motion which will allow the dash cam to prepare to save an event clip before point of impact. If impact is detected, a 20 second video (10 seconds before and 10 seconds after the impact) is saved in a dedicated folder on the MicroSD card. When no impacts are detected, the U1000 does not save the footage and resumes Energy Saving Mode 2.0.
