Upgrade Details:

The factory VW radio in this car was starting to feel a bit outdated—it had a basic, non-touch display and no CarPlay support. We upgraded it using a Maestro Integration Module, which allows us to retain all of the car’s factory features, including the steering wheel controls.

With this system, the steering wheel buttons can also be reprogrammed to add extra functions—like a long press to switch to additional cameras or jump straight to vehicle info, gauges, or climate controls.

Other factory features are also retained, such as radio info displayed in the instrument cluster and rear sensor overlays on the reverse camera—a feature the factory radio didn’t support.

The new 9-inch screen fits perfectly between the air vents, so nothing gets blocked. It can also be tilted to reduce glare—something the factory screen struggled with due to the dash design. Plus, the screen height can be adjusted up or down depending on your preferred viewing angle.

This upgrade also adds wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, DAB radio, and keeps all the original car settings intact—bringing a modern experience while still feeling factory-fit.
